Wipe your finger in the exhaust pipe to check the formation of soot. Very dark deposits in the tailpipe indicate an front window repair incomplete combustion due to too rich a fuel mixture. Also check for black deposits near the exhaust on the bumper, body and tail lights. This indicates an above average oil consumption.
